Suspect sought in North Fort Myers store robbery

Lee County deputies are looking for a man caught on a surveillance camera robbing a Dollar General on Monday in North Fort Myers.

The suspect entered the store at 4055 Hancock Bridge Pkwy., pointed a sharp object behind the victim’s back, and demanded money from the safe. He fled the store with an unknown amount of cash.

The suspect is described as Black, 5’9″ and he was wearing all dark clothing, medical gloves, and had a dark bandana partially covering his face. He should be considered armed and dangerous.

Anyone with information on his identity is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-780-8477 or submit a tip online on their website or on the P3Tips mobile app. A cash reward is offered if your anonymous tip leads to the suspect’s arrest.
