
A pedestrian was struck and killed by an SUV in Arcadia late Monday.
The Florida Highway Patrol says a man was crossing US-17, south of Lowe Street, when he walked into the path of an SUV driven by a 16-year-old girl.
The man was pronounced dead on the scene. The crash remains under investigation.
