Easter egg hunts with Lee County Parks & Recreation

There are two Lee County Parks & Recreation sites that will be holding Easter egg hunts for kids, ahead of the observance of Easter. Easter Sunday is April 4.

Both will be held on April 3rd and will be following CDC guidelines. Lee County Parks & Recreation will be offering hand sanitizer.

The Estero EGGstravaganza will be held from 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday, April 3. This will be held at Estero Park at 9200 Corkscrew Palms Blvd in Estero. Pre-registration is required and will be online, by calling the recreation center at 239-533-1470 or in person. It costs $5 per child for each kid age 12 and under. Space is limited to 200 kids.

There will be arts & crafts supplies to take home, a goodie bag, and meet the Easter Bunny.

Boca Grande’s Tortoise and the Hare egg races will also be on April 3 at the Boca Grande Community Center at 131 First Street West. These egg races and hunts are free for children ages 11 and under. Pre-registration is required so call the community at 941-964-2564. Donations of individually wrapped soft candy will be accepted until April 2. There will be candy guessing contests and prizes.
