Collier County deputies have arrested a pharmacist and accused him of stealing drugs.
Mark Kaplan, 69, faces a charge of larceny-grand theft of controlled substances, according to an arrest report.
Kaplan works at Clinica Los Angeles at 5240 Golden Gate Parkway since last year and was accused by the owner of stealing drugs, the report says.
The owner said she needed to contact the medical board for a copy of her inventory because Kaplan destroyed her inventory list.
Kaplan provided a statement to deputies, which was redacted from the report.
He was placed under arrest as a result of the investigation and was transported to Naples Jail Center.
Jail records show Kaplan bonded out.
