
A woman was arrested for being an out-of-state fugitive by the Fort Myers Police Department.
Kayla Marie Brown, 30, was taken into custody on Tuesday morning on a warrant from the Caldwell County Sheriff’s Office in North Carolina for death by distribution, a felony.
Fort Myers police said, in a Facebook, post that the arrest was the result of advanced license plate reader technology.
Brown will remain in custody until she is extradited.
