Suspects sought in North Fort Myers Dollar General robbery

Lee County deputies are looking for two men they say robbed a Dollar General in North Fort Myers at gunpoint late Saturday.

Employees closed the store at 4055 Hancock Bridge Pkwy., shortly after 10 p.m. As they were walking to their cars in front of the building, two men armed with handguns approached them.

Deputies say one employee was restrained outside the store by one of the suspects while the second employee was forced to unlock the store and provide access to the store’s cash. After grabbing an undisclosed amount of money, the two suspects fled.

Anyone with information on the robbery or the two suspects involved is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-780-TIPS (8477).
