A 21-year-old motorcyclist sustained serious injuries in a crash on I-75 north near mile marker 124.

The crash happened just after 12:30 a.m. on Saturday, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Troopers say four vehicles were involved.

The motorcyclist, of Cape Coral, was traveling north on I-75 when he lost control. Three other vehicles ran into the overturned motorcycle, causing one of them to overturn.

A 67-year-old Punta Gorda woman driving an SUV that overturned sustained minor injuries.

No one else was hurt in the crash.

It remains under investigation.

The Florida Highway Patrol no longer identifies individuals involved in traffic crashes, citing Marsy’s Law.
