The Orange County Sheriff’s Office said they believe to have found the remains of Miya Marcano, a missing college student who has been gone since Sept. 24, WTSP reported.

Orange County Sheriff John Mina said a body was recovered at around 10:45 a.m. on Saturday in an area of Tymber Skan Apartments.

There was a purse with Marcano’s identification found in the area, Mina said.

The prime suspect in Marcano’s disappearance died by suicide. Manuel Caballero, 27, was found by authorities dead at a Seminole County apartment complex.

Mina said investigators are still searching for two cellphones and keys tied to the case at this time.

He said he was “pretty sure” Caballero was responsible for Marcano’s death.

Marcano, a Valencia College student, disappeared on Sept. 24.

Hundreds of law enforcement officials spread out through Orange, Volusia and Seminole counties to look for the woman.

Caballero was a maintenance worker at Marcano’s apartment complex who had repeatedly expressed romantic interest in her.

He was seen entering her apartment with a master key after she disappeared.
