Credit: Mitzy Lara A person is now in critical condition after being hit by a train in Tice. This happened near the intersection of New York Drive and Seminole Street in Tice. Florida Highway Patrol says the pedestrian was hit by a Seminole Gulf Railway Train. The person was transported to Lee Memorial Hospital and is in critical condition. This crash remains under investigation and FHP troopers are still at the scene. The part of the train that is still under investigation was left at the scene. However, WINK News has learned that there were people onboard the train and that the cars not being investigated have been disconnected and are headed back to a station. This is a developing story and WINK News will update you when more information becomes available.
