Police end search for person in the Caloosahatchee River

Fort Myers police and the Fort Myers Fire Department have stopped searching for a person in the Caloosahatchee River near Oasis Grand Boulevard.

Police say they received a call about a person in the water who was giving a distress signal and that someone at Oasis told them they saw a person flickering a light.

Police also say they found an empty boat in the water with no lights on.
