The Collier County Manager fired Collier County’s Deputy Manager for what he described as “a serious breach of practices.” WINK News obtained that termination letter and will take you through it.

Collier County Deputy Manager Sean Callahan is now out of a job. According to Collier County Manager Mark Isackson, he says that Callahan “engaged in secondary employment without proper notification.”

Isackson went on to say, “your failure to share this vital information with me… cannot be tolerated.” So, he fired him.

So what was that secondary employment Isackson was referring to? Callahan has been working as a senior policy advisor since March of 2021. Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck posted on its website welcoming Callahan to its federal Government Relations team.

WINK News reached out to Callahan for comment, but he has not yet gotten back to us.

We also reached out to Isackson, but he had nothing further to say.
