Fort Myers police asking for tips in Sunday shooting

Fort Myers police are asking the public to provide information on a shooting that injured one man Sunday night.

The shooting happened just after 10 p.m. in the 3300 block of Armstrong Court, police said.

Officers found a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds and began life-saving measures. They transported him to Gulf Coast Medical Center for treatment.

Detectives are asking anyone who may have attended the gathering and has information on the shooting to contact Fort Myers police.
