Lee Health says it has 133 COVID-19 patients in its hospitals as of Wednesday

Lee Health is reporting it has 133 COVID-19 patients in its hospitals as of Wednesday morning.

Here is their latest COVID-19 report:

  • As of Wednesday morning, there are 133 COVID-19 patients isolated in Lee Health hospitals.
  • Of those patients, five of them are being treated at Golisano Children’s Hospital of Southwest Florida.
  • On Wednesday morning, Lee Health hospital census was at 95% of staffed operational bed capacity.
  • On Wednesday morning, census in the intensive care unit was at 91% of staffed operational bed capacity. There were 14 COVID-19 patients in the ICU.
  • On Tuesday, Lee Health emergency departments saw 844 patients, which is typical for this time of year.
