One Southwest Florida teenager is close to visiting every national park in the United States and he’s sharing his adventures on Youtube for everyone to see. He’s also published several books on his travels.

17-year-old Eric Feichthaler has been to all 50 states. But what makes him stand out is that he’s visited 61 of the 63 national parks. And he’s made it easy for you to share in his adventures.

“I feel everybody deserves a chance to see them and know about what it’s like to go to them,” Feichthaler says.

Feichthaler, a junior at Oasis High School in Cape Coral, has a youtube channel where he chronicles his trips to the national parks he’s toured and offers advice.

“I realized with these kinds of videos, maybe people would like to see that and hear my thoughts and experiences about the national parks,” Feichthaler says.

Go to youtube and search ‘National Park Wild’, the name of Eric’s channel, which already has more than 1,800 subscribers. He also kept journals of his experiences and put them all in a book and got it published. All this dates back to 2015 when his family went on a trip to Yellowstone National Park.

“There was so much diversity in the scenery and the wildlife, Feichthaler says. “And that was the one that made me realize just how beautiful the parks are. And after that, I visited the majority of them. ”
