Robert Woodrow Wills, 65. (Credit: Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office) A Charlotte County man has been arrested for having child porn after an investigation by the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office and the FBI. Deputies arrested Robert Woodrow Wills, 65, on Monday after an investigation led to a search warrant at his home on Chinquapin Drive. According to the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office, an IP address in Charlotte County was identified as sharing more than 500 files of child porn. During a federal search warrant of the Wills’ home, investigators found four hard drives that they say contained evidence of child porn. ‘The Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office and the FBI remain relentless in its mission to find, arrest and prosecute any individual who preys on our children. Whether this is done in person, or virtually, law enforcement has the tools and capabilities to uncover these crimes, locate these criminals and bring them to justice,” said Sheriff Bill Prummell in a release about the arrest. Wills is facing charges of compiling or transmitting child porn, and possession of child porn.
