On Saturday, Brian McKellop Jr.’s family and friends said goodbye to a son, brother, and veteran.

The Combat Vets Motorcycle Association escorted the family of United States Marine Corp Lance Corporal Brian McKellop Jr. from the First Baptist Church of Cape Coral to Coral Ridge Funeral home to lay him to rest.

Richard Fisher, the executive officer of Combat Vets Motorcycle Association said, “he was a Marine. He was one of our brothers. And we just felt it in our heart that he needed a good send-off with all the honor and dignity and respect that he deserves.”

Before the biker escort, family, friends, and Marine Corps members gathered to remember the U.S. Marine.

Dillan McKellop, McKellop Jr’s little brother said, “I will try to be the best one just to make you proud. I love you, my brother, so so much, and I will miss you very much.”
