Credit: WINK News. A volunteer for the nonprofit Crisis Response International was injured on Tuesday while setting up a place for prayer. According to a Facebook post from the nonprofit, Kate Newman, who leads the “mobile house of prayer”, was injured on her Hurricane Ian deployment during setup. The post says Newman is in good spirits and is scheduled for surgery. This is a developing story and will be updated as more information becomes available.
