Two Southwest Florida men, Raul Colon-Ocasio and Dominic Lawrence Carsi, first appeared in federal court on Wednesday in unrelated child porn cases.

Both men are represented by Russell Rosenthal from the Federal Public Defender’s Office.

Colon-Ocasio is indicted on charges of making and possessing child pornography. In a state case, Colon-Ocasio is being held on bail in Charlotte County, as he’s already been arrested and accused of selling marijuana edibles to an underage girl for sex.

In the second case, Carsi is indicted on a charge of possession of child pornography. WINK News got a video of when his Naples home was raided on Tuesday. According to court documents, officials found sexual videos and pictures of children between a few months to four years old. The documents say he sent them out on the messaging app Kik.

The government seeks to keep him detained, claiming he is a flight risk and a danger to the community. But that will be decided on Thursday.
