Hurricane Heroes concert for Ian responders at Hammond Stadium

The all-star ‘Hurricane Heroes’ concert at Hammond Stadium honored people who risked their lives to help others during Hurricane Ian.

The proceeds from Saturday will go to two local charities; Music Alive SWFL and Children’s Music Outreach Foundation.

Matchbox 20 headlined the concert. Local Southwest Florida bands, the Red Hannahs, and Don Felder from the Eagle also performed.

The doors of Hammond Stadium opened at 4:30 p.m. and the concert kicked off at 6:00 p.m.
