Collier County teacher pay increase approved

A new teacher pay deal in Collier County is finally done.

On Tuesday, the school board approved an agreement with the Collier County Education Association, giving all teachers increased wages.

The deal adds $4,000 to everyone’s base salary and additional increases based on performance.

The deal’s estimated cost is $26 million.
