The WINK News Weather Authority keeps Southwest Florida up to date with its hourly weather forecast, seven days a week.

WINK News Meteorologist Zach Maloch is tracking a cooler start to your Thursday morning with scattered rain chances throughout the day.

What to expect for the next three days:

Thursday: Cool morning with temperatures in the 50s and lower 60s. Clouds are expected to be present throughout the day. A few showers will be possible this morning and early afternoon with scattered showers possible for the evening commute. Temperature highs will be in the mid to upper 70s.

Friday: Isolated showers possible in the morning through the middle of the afternoon. Temperatures will start milder and in the mid-60s thanks to that increase in moisture. Highs in the mid to upper 70s.

Drier weather arrives for the evening plans as a strong cold front moves into Southwest Florida. That front issues in some of the coldest air we have seen so far this winter.

Saturday: Dry and cool morning with temperatures in the lower to mid-50s. Temperature highs in the mid-60s. Temperatures will fall fast during the evening, and we’ll see some of the coldest air this winter arrive on Sunday morning.

You can catch Zach’s weather forecast every weekday on WINK News This Morning from 4:30 to 8 a.m.
