Crash on Burnt Store Road temporarily closes all lanes

A vehicle crash on Burnt Store Road North, near the Lee and Charlotte County border, temporarily closed all lanes of traffic.

The Lee County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene at around 6:54 a.m. on Wednesday, reporting that all lanes had been blocked due to the crash.

The Cape Coral Police Department and LCSO deputies were on the scene to redirect traffic.

A red Nissan had sustained massive frontal damage from the crash.

It remains unclear if any injuries were reported due to the collision.

At 9:26 a.m., a tow truck on the scene removed the vehicle from the roadways.

Regular traffic resumed soon after.

The cause of the crash remains unknown.
