For this school year, Lipman Family Farms will be gearing up children with 1,800 backpacks and school supplies.

The 14th annual giveaway will be hosted by Immokalee High School in the Gary Bates Football Stadium and will run from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday.

Not only will there be supplies, but there will also be bikes, shoes and even barbers to give students fresh new haircuts.

Collier County Public Schools (CCPS) Superintendent Dr. Leslie C. Ricciardelli will be there to assist and celebrate the recent achievement of Immokalee High School moving from a “C” to a “B” in the Florida Department of Education’s school grading system.

If you plan to stop by, be sure to RSVP to communications@collierschools.com.
