Collier County Disaster Recovery Center to close

The Collier County Disaster Recovery Center in Naples is set to permanently close at 5:30 p.m. on Dec. 3.

The disaster recovery center is located at Collier County Sugden Park on 4284 Avalon Drive.

It opened for those affected by Hurricane Milton, Hurricane Helene, and Tropical Storm Debby.

According to the Florida Disaster website, disaster recovery centers “provide guidance regarding disaster recovery, clarification of any written correspondence received, housing assistance and rental resource information, and answer questions.”

The center is accessible to people with disabilities and functional needs.

The disaster recovery center is closed on Thursday for Thanksgiving.
