A man has died after a construction-related accident early this morning at a South Florida Water Management project area in Hendry County. According to the Hendry County Sheriff’s Office, it received a 911 call reporting a man who had fallen while working on a machine, severely injured and possibly deceased at approximately 3:38 a.m. on Tuesday. The incident occurred at 3338 Congen Rd., a South Florida Water Management project area. Hendry County Deputies, along with first responders, arrived at the scene and confirmed that the victim was, in fact, deceased. Detectives do believe this to be an accidental death.
