Published: Updated:

The Weather Authority says it’s the first weekend of spring, and it is a beautiful one across Southwest Florida!

Saturday starts out cooler with temperatures in the 40s and 50s, with highs reaching the upper 70s today with sun, clouds and low humidity overhead.

Sunday

High-level clouds will push in, with slightly warmer temperatures topping out in the low to mid-80s. Humidity will gradually begin to increase from Sunday into Monday.

This week

More moisture works its way back into the forecast by midweek, increasing rain chances from Tuesday into Wednesday.

Highs will be above average in the mid to upper 80s throughout the week.

Beach and boating

A nice beach and boating day is in store as we are seeing decreased winds out of the northeast, shifting northwest later in the evening around 5 to 10 knots.

The Gulf wave heights reach around 1 to 3 feet, with a light chop in our inland waters and bays.

A beautiful afternoon is in store, with temperatures in the upper 70s along the coast.
