FORT MYERS, Fla. Homebuyers across the nation are being targeted by an alarming email scam that has the potential to wipe out a victim’s bank account, according to the Federal Bureau of Investigation. If you become a video of this scam call your bank first and then call the FBI.

FORT MYERS BEACH, Fla. The U.S. Coast Guard is battling a recurrence of fake distress calls. The calls have been an ongoing problem in Southwest Florida in 2017 and can be dangerous, illegal and expensive to taxpayers, the U.S. Coast Guard said.
