
FORT MYERS, Fla.- The suspect accused in a shooting made his first appearance in court Wednesday.
U.S. Marshals arrested 19-year-old Brian Patterson Tuesday night.
Police say Patterson tried to steal a man’s car outside the 7-Eleven located on Ortiz Avenue. When the victim managed to get into his vehicle and drive away, authorities say Patterson began to shoot at the car.
Wednesday morning, a judge set Patterson’s bond at $375,000. He was also ordered to wear a GPS monitoring bracelet.
Patterson is facing several charges including attempted felony murder and attempted car jacking.
