AMMAN, Jordan (AP) – Jordan says it’s ready to trade a convicted terrorist for a Jordanian pilot captured in December by the Islamic State group.
Islamic State extremists are threatening to kill the pilot and a Japanese journalist if Jordan doesn’t free a woman sentenced to death for her involvement in a deadly 2005 terrorist attack in Jordan.
Jordan’s information minister says it’s ready to release the woman if the Jordanian pilot is released unharmed.
