ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) – Officials say two people were injured when an aircraft tug hit a jet bridge at Orlando International Airport.

An OIA spokesman says the vehicle hit the accordion-style hallway Tuesday morning as passengers were getting off United Airlines Flight 1294 from Houston.

The Orlando Sentinel (http://goo.gl/dNMJ8I ) reports that the tug’s driver was taken to a nearby hospital with an injured leg. A 9-year-old boy was also hurt, but his parents declined treatment.

An aircraft tug is used to move planes in areas where their jet engines could potentially damage buildings or equipment.
