CLAYTON COUNTY, Ga.- A man is facing charges after police say he tattooed a 13-year-old boy.

Officers say the man also didn’t have a permit to give tattoos.

Clayton County police say 20-year-old Darius Hunter placed an advertisement on social media for his tattooing services. What got him arrested were the pictures he posted of himself tattooing a 13-year-old boy.

“Clayton County officers responded to an anonymous tip in reference to a minor being tattooed,” said Charlene Watson Fraser, Clayton County Police.

Officers say that tip led them to the home where they say the 13-year-old was tattooed on his chest.

Police arrested Hunter and charged him with contributing to the delinquency of a minor and tattooing.

Officers say Hunter had no business license and didn’t have a permit from the board of health. They say not having a permit really puts minors, or anyone, in danger.

“You never know if they’re using sterile equipment because they could be transferring all kinds of diseases through unsterile equipment,” said Fraser.

Police say more charges are on the way for Hunter. He’s currently being held on a $5,000 bond.
