COLLIER COUNTY, Fla.- A local pastor rode his bike from Naples to Zionsville, Indiana to raise money for St. Matthew’s House.

Pastor Tom Harris completed the 1,300 mile adventure with a friend over 13 days. Their mission was to bring awareness to the non-profit’s drug and alcohol recovery program.

“That became a real exciting part of the trip. It made it fun, it made for kind of the long miles at times where you’re thinking this isn’t just about us doing something were dreaming about doing, but it’s about helping someone else,” said Harris.

During the trip, Harris was able to raise more than $4,000.
