COLLIER COUNTY, Fla.- Deputies are searching for a man who robbed an East Naples bank Wednesday afternoon. The robbery was reported at 3:50 p.m. at the Wells Fargo Bank at 8615 Collier Blvd. Witnesses said the suspect entered the bank and asked to speak with the manager about how to receive money sent from outside the United States. He was then escorted to the manager. The suspect and the manager then went to a teller window, where the man displayed a handgun and said, “This is a robbery.” He fled the bank with an unknown amount of cash and left the scene in a tan vehicle. There were no customers in the bank and no injuries were reported. Anyone with information is asked to call the Collier County Sheriff’s Office at 239-252-9300.
