ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) – Fire officials say fire destroyed an apartment building at a complex near the University of Central Florida.

It took about 60 firefighters to put out the fire at the Tivoli Apartments on Sunday afternoon. Seminole County Fire Department spokeswoman Paula Thompson says one building is a total loss. A total of 24 apartments were affected, displacing about 75 people.

The apartment complex is located in Seminole County, just across the border from Orange County. Officials say many UCF students live there.

The Red Cross is working to help residents find a place to stay.

The Orlando Sentinel (http://bit.ly/1HCnxJA ) reports university officials will also provide assistance to students whose apartments were destroyed.

There were no injuries reported.

The state fire marshal will investigate the fire.
