
LITTLE BOKEELIA ISLAND, Fla. (AP) – After three years on the market, a Florida island has finally sold for a hefty price tag.
Little Bokeelia island, a 104-acre southwest Florida island complete with a mansion, sold for $14.5 million.
Mark Pentecost, the founder of a nutrition and beauty aid marketing company, purchased the barrier island, which is halfway between Sarasota and Naples. The property includes a desalination plant and a bungalow village for guests.
