CAPE CORAL, Fla.- Detectives are looking for an arsonist caught torching a property in Cape Coral last week.

The victim saw the man pouring gasoline across the front yard of the home on the 700 block of Southwest 5th Terrace and down the driveway. The man also poured a puddle of gas behind a car at the foot of the driveway and then lit the gasoline on fire.

The suspect drove westbound away from the home in a black, four-door car which had white paper covering the license plate.

Cape Coral police describe the suspect as having short, black hair, and wearing dark sunglasses.

A witness told authorities he saw a dirty, black, four-door Toyota Camry driving slowly in the area and thought it could be the vehicle involved in the fire.
