Mask-wearing man robs woman in parking lot of Fort Myers business

FORT MYERS, Fla.- Fort Myers police are investigating a robbery Friday morning at the Florida Heart Associates located on Barkley Circle.

Authorities say around 8 a.m., the victim was getting out of her car in the parking lot when she was approached by a man wearing a mask, who threatened her with a gun and demanded her purse.

The victim gave the man her purse and the suspect then ran toward a dark SUV waiting nearby. The SUV, possibly a Chevrolet, was last seen heading toward Summerlin Road.

The suspect is described as younger man with a dark complexion, wearing a white skeleton mask covering his face and a dark long sleeved hoodie. The other suspect driving the getaway vehicle is described as approximately 25 years of age with light brown hair.
