Suspicious incident cancels classes at FSW’s Collier County campus

Published: Updated:

NAPLES, Fla.- All classes and activities at Florida SouthWestern State College’s campus in Collier County are canceled as of 4 p.m., according to a spokesperson for the school.

All students are free to leave the campus without penalty, officials said. Classes will resume at 8 a.m. on Wednesday.

The cancellation of classes stems from a suspicious post by a student on the Snapchat app. The Collier County Sheriff’s Office is now speaking with the student.

No further details were immediately available.
