FORT MYERS, Fla. — Isolated thunderstorms will begin during the early-afternoon hours Tuesday around Lake Okeechobee and move toward the I-75 corridor later in the afternoon. The storms, which will become scattered as they move in a southwesterly direction, could bring heavy rain and lightning. They’re expected to dissipate by late evening. Highs will be in the upper 80s and lower 90s. Winds will be out of the southwest at 5 to 10 mph.
