NEW YORK (AP) – Alex Rodriguez is batting fifth in his return to the Yankees lineup.
The team activated the designated hitter off the disabled list before Thursday’s game against Toronto. The 40-year-old slugger had been on the DL since May 4 with a strained right hamstring.
He had been batting .194 with five home runs in 20 games.
