FORT MYERS, Fla. — A Lehigh Acres couple was indicted by a grand jury on Tuesday in the death of a woman found inside her Hendry County home in August.
Bubba Wayne O’Connor, 42, and Wendy Michelle Soucier, 49, were indicted for first degree murder, attempted first degree murder, robbery with a deadly weapon and first degree burglary in the death of Cherry Ermine.
Ermine was found dead inside her Clewiston home after authorities said O’Connor and Soucier attempted to rob her. Frank Jansson, 69, was also injured during the incident.
