Farmers Markets Back in Full Swing

FORT MYERS, Fla. – Now that October is here, local farmers markets are also gearing up for the influx of people. Many are now back and operational throughout Southwest Florida on most days of the week.

All the markets include around 50 vendors with everything from craft coffee and cheese to handmade soap, fresh produce and exotic fruit, even flowers and honey. Grown and sourced locally by farmers and purveyors from across the state of Florida.

Farmers markets across Lee County meet at the following locations on the set dates and times:

Sunday’s – Sanibel Island City Hall, 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. until May 28th.

Monday’s – JetBlue Park, 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. until March 27th.

Wednesday’s – Lakes Regional Park, 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. until April 26th.

Thursday’s – Coconut Point, 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. until April 27th & Centennial Park in the Fort Myers River District, 7:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. year round.

Friday’s – FSW Campus, 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. until April 28th.

Saturday’s – The Promenade in Bonita, 8:00 a.m. – Noon until April 29th. & Downtown Fort Myers at Cornog Plaza, 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. year round.
