MATLACHA, Fla. — A suspect has been arrested in connection to the tire slashing that occurred at a Pine Island Road restaurant Thursday evening. Allen McClenithan, 45, of Matlacha, has been accused of slashing thousands of dollars worth of tires outside of Miceli’s Restaurant. He is facing felony charges of criminal mischief, according to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office. He has had 12 prior arrests in Lee County for fishing violations, contempt, fraud and being “a deadbeat dad,” according to Crime Stoppers. McClenithan is currently in custody with a $10,000 bond. The next trial date is schedule for 8:30 a.m. on Nov. 14.
