Rising economic tide lifts Fort Myers Boat Show

FORT MYERS, Fla. — No shortage of vessels were on display Thursday in downtown Fort Myers for the first day of the annual Fort Myers Boat Show.

The event lasts through Sunday at the Harborside Event Center. Admission is $10 per person and free for children under 16.

Organizer Kyle Good credits an improving economy with helping the event.

“In the past few years with the economy going up, it’s been really growing,” said event organizer Kyle Good. “Every year we have more and more boats, new dealers and everyone wants to be in the show.”
