BONITA SPRINGS, Fla. Two cars wound up in a swimming pool behind a home after a Sunday night crash.

One car was driven just before 9 p.m. into an Esther Drive garage where the other car was parked, officials from the Lee County Sheriff’s Office and the Bonita Springs Fire Control and Rescue District said. The collision sent both cars into the pool and rendered the house attached to the garage unsafe to live in.

The two people who were in the first car suffered minor injuries, according to the sheriff’s office. No one was in the garage or the other car. Two people were upstairs in the house, but they’re unharmed, officials said.
