Allegiant adds new routes connecting Punta Gorda, Midwest

PUNTA GORDA, Fla. Allegiant will run flights from Milwaukee and Flint, Michigan to Punta Gorda twice a week starting this month.

The budget airline begins its routes between Flint’s Bishop International Airport and the Punta Gorda Airport on Friday with one-way fares starting at $73, according to the company.

The shuttles between the Punta Gorda Airport and Milwaukee’s General Mitchell International Airport start Oct. 13. One-way seats are available for $60 and up, Allegiant said.

Allegiant also recently added flights to Punta Gorda from Omaha, Nebraska.
