The state attorney’s office announced Wednesday that a DeSoto County man has been convicted on sexual battery charges.
Alexandre Taluy was sentenced to 40 years in prison on four counts of sexual battery upon a person 12 years or older but less than 18. The crimes were committed between 2015 and 2016.
The DeSoto County Sheriff’s Office investigated the crimes.
