The intersection of Cleveland Avenue and Hanson Street where a pedestrian was hit by a vehicle Wednesday morning. A vehicle hit a pedestrian Wednesday morning on Cleveland Avenue and Hanson Street. The accident closed southbound lanes of Cleveland Ave. and parts of Hanson at the intersection while emergency crews tended the the injured pedestrian, according to the Fort Myers Police Department. The victim was taken to the Lee Health Trauma Center for head injuries, according to police. Police advised drivers to take an alternate route.
