North Port crime scene vehicles at a death investigation . The North Port Police Department is currently conducting a death investigation involving a shooting in the 3500 block of Erie Court. Police say the shooting was related to a neighbor dispute between John Krug Jr. and Carl Stacey Berry. Krug Jr. shot Berry, who later died from his gunshot wound. Police later arrested John Krug Jr. UPDATE 1: North Port Police Department responded to the call at 10:10am Friday morning. The shooting was related to a neighbor dispute. The deceased can now be identified as Carl Stacey Berryman, 02/25/56.
