Freestyle rapper Logan Long is gaining views on the popular app TikTok for one of his videos. So much so that his video will be featured tonight on CBS during the “Greatest At Home Videos” special. Long said he shot a TikTok one night, and it wasn’t doing super well. But when he woke up the next day… “Shot the video, dropped it [and] it wasn’t doing super well and then the next morning I woke up and it had like 350,000 views,” Long said. Now, seven weeks later, and Logan Long’s TikTok has been seen by over 5.6 million users. “It’s kind of crazy to think about, I have never had anything in my career like reached out many amounts of people, like I’ve never really gone viral before,” he said. Long also is credited with starting the latest TikTok trend. “Just kept running with the three-word freestyle thing, kind of just made it my own trend and here we are now,” Long said. Of course, the people watching think he’s pretty good. So WINK News reporter Gail Levy put Long to the test. “Okay so we’re going to see if you can freestyle to these three words. WINK, cameraman, and television,” she said. The entire rap came out to 36 seconds with her questions included. Catch Logan tonight at 8 p.m. on “Greatest At Home Videos” on WINK.
